Why is it that it's ok in society for girls to attack guys and guys aren't allowed to do anything? Why is it ok for emo dumbasses to kiss each other on stupid icons plastered all around sites like Vampirefreaks.com and for some reason it's just "hot"? If two shirtless girls were kissing in some icon, that would just be seen as skanky. Why? Because it is, regardless of gender.

I'm so fucking sick of hearing "guys are led around by their cocks", as if it's nothing like me saying: "women can't drive for shit." Of course then I'd be a sexist pig. These double standards get really old, really fast.

Why is it that it's socially unacceptable to be racist (unless you're from Englewood, Colorado), as well as anti semitic, but it's ok to make assumptions about a person because of gender? How is it less bad to stereotype a race or religion then it is to stereotype someone because of sex? It's fucking degrading. The worst part is most people don't even realize how common this bullshit is. Not only do people believe a lot of these stereotypes are true, but they live up to them without a second thought.

Now I'm going to use women here as an example, so don't shit a brick since I am aware that both sexes have fucking stupid stereotypes for each other. Anyway, back during the women's rights movements, the women's role in society changed. They were no longer seen as these cookie cutter housewives who "belong in the kitchen." Women were strong, women had overcome the [tyranny of men] to achieve the seemingly impossible. Women were equal.

Fast forward to 2006, what did this accomplish? Not fucking shit. Women are returning to the ideals that their place is in the home, cooking and cleaning and completely contradicting what was fought for in the women's rights movement. Now following MTV and Calvin Klein culture and they're going right back to what it was like.

The women's role in society is strange to say the least. For the most part, they're nothing more than a mother wolf feeding her pups while the male goes out and "hunts" for money to feed the family. Congratulations, we've reached an evolutionary plateau. They huge question I have for most women is, do you enjoy this? Do you enjoy contradicting that what women fought so hard to redeem, so you can just become nothing more than a mate for offspring?

It makes me sick to see how many young women just going along with that kind of bullshit in society. Where did that strong, self-respecting woman go? I guess it went down the drain with dignity and ambition.

I know I probably sound like a "pig" for saying that stuff, but it's generally pretty true. Now, it's to covering men.

Men are the reason women are so held down in society. They're also the excuse for being held down. Yes, most men are idiots, but so are women. Women need to take the imitative and realize that men will exploit them because they can. That's just human nature (well, American nature), to exploit whenever possible. My point is, don't look for excuses for why you're being held down, get off your ass and do something about it. I mean, realistically the only thing in today's society that's getting women down is their own personal goals. That's just it, people just allow themselves to be screwed over because it's easier.

The point I'm trying to make is, nobody holds you down but yourself. No more excuses, and no more double standards. Equality isn't circumstantial. Most of the problems caused in one gender are caused because of trying to please the other gender or resentment of own personal failure to please the other gender. I guess what I'm saying is, regardless of gender, age, religion or any other reason never should anyone cut their goals sort—especially just to impress or appease the other sex.
